This trek follows the easier portion of the Annapurna Circuit, excluding the excessive altitudes of the Thorong La pass. We begin in Pokhara and trek to Poon hill for the spectacular sunrise, continuing through the stark beauty of an arid landscape akin to Tibet on our way to the sacred pilgrimage site at Muktinath. We stop at the ancient village of Kagbeni in the lower Mustang district, and catch a flight back to Pokhara from Jomsom.
