The journey to Annapurna Base Camp follows the valley between Hiunchuli and Machhapuchare (fishtail) to an enormous amphitheatre-shaped glacial valley situated between the towering peaks of Hiunchuli, Annapurna South, Machapuchhare, Fang, Gangapurna, Annapurna, and Annapurna III.
