Covering an area of 932 square meters in Nepal's southeastern subtropical lowlands, called the Terai, Chitwan National Park was designated as Nepal's first national park in 1973. This area is home to a vast number of plants and wildlife, including Nepal's  protected rhinoceros and elephant populations, as well as being one of the world's best tiger habitat, home to the famous bengal tiger. Options abound for adventure in this unique region - take an elephant or jeep safari, river rafting tour, guided jungle walk, or visit a traditional Tharu village, the indigenous inhabitants of this region.

 


Day 1: Arrive in Kathmandu
You will be received at Tribhuvan airport by representatives from Mountain Sisters and SLC level students from the Mitrata-Nepal children's home and transferred to your hotel.

Day 2: Sightseeing around Kathmandu
After breakfast, spend the afternoon sightseeing around Kathmandu - visit Nepal's largest Buddhist stupa at Boudanath and tour the temple complex at the holy Hindu pilgrimage site at Pashupatinath. Enjoy a typical Nepalese lunch and visit the historical Patan Durbar Square, a UNESCO world heritage site, and tour a Tibetan refugee camp.

Day 3: Kathmandu to Chitwan: 4-5 hours drive
Depart from Kathmandu by local bus or private van. Join us in the evening for a Tharu village walk and cultural program.

Days 4 : Chitwan
Spend the next day exploring Chitwan National Park, home to Nepal's elephant, rhinoceros, and bengal tiger populations. Take an elephant or jeep safari, or guided jungle walk to see some of Nepal's most celebrated wildlife species.

Day 5: Chitwan to Kathmandu
Drive to Kathmandu after breakfast. Spend your leisure time, rest .

Day 6 : Early mountain flight for a bird's-eye view of Nepal's most breathtaking himalayan scenery, take an optional for Volunteering , shopping , etc. 

Day 7: Departure
Thanks for traveling with us, we hope you enjoyed yourself! Transfer to Tribhuvan airport and onward to your next destination.
